Pl8tek LLC is now registered in the federal System for Award Management. The registration is active, and the Defense Logistics Agency has assigned us a CAGE code. For agencies that can only buy from vendors in the federal system, that was a missing checkbox. It's checked now.
What the Registration Is
SAM.gov is the federal government's vendor system. A business has to be registered there, with an active Unique Entity ID, before most federal buyers can put it on a contract. A CAGE code is the identifier the Department of Defense and other agencies use to reference a specific vendor and location.
For a buyer, that means two things. Pl8tek can be found in the system you already use, and Pl8tek can be paid through the channels you already run. The registration is the baseline that makes a federal or DoD-adjacent purchase possible at all.
